Clinical Supervision in Minnesota

Meet Melanie - LMFT & LPCC

  • MN Marriage and Family Therapy Board Approved Supervisor

  • MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy Approved Supervisor

I provide supervision for those working towards licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and those working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

What is supervision like with me?

My experience includes working with children, adolescents, couples, and families in a variety of settings including in-home, schools, and private practice. I have extensive experience in working with family systems, couples, and complex trauma in addition to anxiety, depression, relational stressors, eating disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder. My approach combines many clinical modalities including CBT, DBT, EFT, and trauma informed including Brainspotting. I believe that supervision is often experiential which includes self-of therapist work. In supervision we will focus on helping you find your best skill set for the work you want to do.

Individual /Dyad Supervision

In individual/dyad supervision, we will have the opportunity to discuss specific case consultation as well as work on self of the therapist. It will be an opportunity for you to grow as a therapist, a person, and as a professional.

Dyad supervision applies to individuals seeking LMFT licensure - it is 2 supervisees in a session and the hours count toward your individual hours for licensure.

  • Individual or Dyadic supervision for post-graduate working toward licensure: $100.00/hr

  • Individual and Dyadic supervision for current graduate student completing an internship: $50.00/hr

Group Supervision

Group supervision is designed to create a rich environment to foster and nurture you as an individual and a therapist. This group is a safe and non-judgmental space where we will spend time exploring and understanding who we are, what models and practices we work from, how to recognize our own talents as well as our vulnerabilities and what informs our decision making.

Group Supervision for current graduate or postgraduate: $120.00/hr
